Hi! Hope you stick around. I'm sorry you have allergies, but glad you decided to come here and share your thoughts with us.

annamarie - yeah, luckily the only antihistmine that i've taken so far that has caused me to react is benadryll, but with skin allergies my options on what effectivly treat those are limited

thanx for the welcome!! seems like a good community here, and lots of info which is great!

Dustytiger,
Do you have trouble with red dye? I thought Benadryl was giving me a problem (loved the grape chewables), but the dye-free is fine. So is the shot.

What form did you have?

And welcome,
Daisy

never had trouble with red dye, and i had the brand name stuff, and tried the cheaper genaric version as well... it acutally makes my allergies worse, so my doctor and i talked about it, and conculuded that it was the drug itself it's the only anti-hystimine i've had trouble with... the kind of sad part was it took me about two or three days for me to realise WHAT was making my allergies flare up so badly!!
