Hello
I'm posting for the first time...

I don't have any allergies (that I know of) but my daughter has a severe allergy to peanuts

I will post a bit more later,.

Welcome Paul! You'll find lots of help here... loads of information and lots of support. I'm sorry you're dealing with a peanut allergy with your daughter (how old is she?), but I'm glad you found us!

15 yr old daughter: no health issues
12 yr old son: allergic to peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, fish, sesame, sunflower, mustard, poppy seeds, green peas, some fruits, instructed to avoid all other legumes (except soy & green beans), pollen, cats, horses

ds-Seasonal, cats and OAS
dh-allergy cats, bugspray and guava, outgrew egg allergy

Thank you for the welcome Julie, my dautgher is 16. So far the only small reaction was when she was 2 where she had a small reaction (stuffy noze and itchy throat and red cheeks) after what was a possible cross contamination to peanuts via a cheesy! This was before her first ever allergy exam.
My second daughter is free of allergies.

Welcome Paul! Glad your found us. This site is amazing for support, resource material, a good laugh! I have seen a lot of good articles on teens with allergies on the Allergic Living home page.

4 yr old DS - asthma/eczema Anaphylactic to Peanuts, all tree nuts, sesame , all pea/lentil legumes, gelatin.
Allergic to trees, grass,ragweed, feathers, dander, mold and dust.
Outgrew eggs, fish, shellfish
