They figure it out when I mention it to the waiter 33%  33%  [ 2 ]

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: allergies to some tree that flowers in May
Cat: allergic to beef, pork and lamb

I voted 'when I mention it to the waiter' but it may come up before that depending on where we go (for example, given my new wheat problem, I would not agree to go to a pizza place as there would be nothing I could eat there!)

Mine are not life-threatening, so I don't see the need to make a big deal out of it. But they'll get it when I talk to the waiter :)

I always tell them on the first date if I get any inkling that I'd like a second date. I want them to know they shouldn't eat nuts of fish when they are going to see me or they won't be able to kiss me!
