My son is 16 months old. Allergies right now - milk, nuts, peanuts, wheat, avocado, banana, sesame, soy, egg. I would love to get together with other moms and kids - to do safe playgroup - so that my son can play freely and I can relax for once.

Why don't you look at activities that don't easily allow such as library story times, baby swim time, mommy and infant yoga/exercize, infant massage classes there has even been a stroller exercize program put together in my city by a consignment shop.
If you can't find anything, why don't you start one? I'm sure you aren't the only parent in town who feels this way.
Your in Chicago, right?
