Hi, all!

Well, we finally challenged DD on sesame. Negative! We still can't believe it.

The only major allergens DD has not eaten at this point (she's four) are peanuts and tree nuts. If she's not allergic to those, the diagnosis is idiopathic anaphylaxis. But since she hasn't had a reaction in well over a year, her allergist is cautiously optimistic. She will, however, have to wear her EpiBelt for at least another two years of no reactions.

Egg and sesame challenges within the past 60 days. Whew.

I guess DD will have to have egg and/or sesame breakfast breaks with DH. ;)

Thanks, all! We're totally thrilled and relieved. You should have seen me trying to stay calm while standing well away from the sesame bagel DD was slowly being fed by DH. I'm so grateful for my meditation practice at times like that! Yogic breathing; it's a good thing.

So, idiopathic anaphylaxis it may well be, and the Epibelt is to be worn for 2 more school years after this one. We can deal with that. :swing
