I bought some Betty Crocker Mashed Potatoes with Roast Chicken gravy. There are allergens listed on the box and it was safe for my daughter, but when I opened the box, I read the ingredients on the gravy mix and it says "May also contains traces of peanuts and nuts", which is not stated on the outside of the package.

I thought that was really strange and I will write to the company about that.

You could even contact the CFIA...

That's pretty bad Nicole -- what if you hadn't read the label on the inside! Karen has a good suggestion to call the CFIA - they can ensure that the labelling gets fixed. Please let us know what happens...

Well, today I received a standard email stating that "the information you provided will be carefully reviewed with the appropriate personnel".

So I'll wait a bit longer and if I don't get a reply, I will then contact the CFIA and go from there.
