I also react quite severely to certain brands of gin --- however I think it's the juniper berries and not almonds that cause the problem.

Hop Cat serves many specialty beers with "out of the ordinary" ingredients that can be fun to try, but a hazard for food allergy sufferers. In fact, the owner, Michelle Sellers, stated that they have served some beers that contained peanuts. She named "Short's" as one of the brands that they have served with peanut products.

According to the Disaronno website, their amaretto contains no almonds, and is nut-free. Therefore, it is safe for people with nut or related allergies.

Does DISARONNO contain nuts?
No. Contrary to popular belief, DISARONNO doesn't contain any nuts and is not made from almonds.
