My DS's teacher wrote me a note today asking if beechnuts, acorns etc that she was planning on using for a craft were safe for my peanut allergic child to be around. I'm not sure about beechnuts b/c I've never heard of them. I assume (which I don't usually assume when it comes to his allergy) that acorns are OK since they are a seed. Does anyone have any idea? I have to get back to her by tomorrow morning.
