Does anyone have any good or bad experiences dining out in Niagara Falls with food allergies? My 5 year old son is allergice to milk, wheat, eggs and nuts. We are planning a family trip at the end of the month.. thanks!

We stayed with big chain restaurants. Most of them now have an allergy book.

I'm not even sure, but I think we mostly went to Boston Pizza. Of course, with an allergy to milk, that might not be your thing, since they have lots of cheese, but they were very good with the allergies.

There are two in Niagara Falls. The one at the top of Embassy Suites is the best one.

We dined at the Sheraton last week - the hotel restaurant cooked a special meal for my son even though it was a buffet place -and his meal was free (kids dine for free) - he is allergic to sesame, nuts and eggs - they made him a chicken breast and veggies

I live in that area - where abouts are you staying? Will you be in the surrounding areas at all?

Where did you stay when you were there? Any rooms that accommodate the chemical senistivities? I have the same issues.

No, the places we stayed didn't accommodate the chemical sensitivities. One time it was the Doubletree Fallsview Resort & Spa....NOT recommended!! The room smelled of cleaning products (to clean a previous occupier's vomit, I think). And they give out cookies with nuts at reception!

The other time was Great Wolf Lodge. Not recommended either for chemical sensitivities.

Thanks for the info - I might re-think staying overnight given the Marketplace findings. They have another show tonight.

Might try some of the restaurants, many thanks.
