My daughter has multiple food allergies (peanuts, treenuts, legumes, shellfish).
When the school does a Subway lunch(not safe) we get her a sub from "Dagwoods". Not sure if Dagwoods is just in Montreal though. I spoke with the manager there and he showed us ingredients ect., no peanuts or treenuts in the establishment, cookies (none with nuts) are made from an outside supplier and are pre wrapped.

Hope this helps someone!

Subway has a lot on information online. They were also very helpful when I called. We deal with a sesame allergy and they told me the only thing with sesame is a terriaki sauce. We ate there tonight and my son was fine for sesame and treenut allergy.

I have never seen an allergy chart for them before, but found one just now. http://www.subway.com/Nutrition/Files/A ... artCAN.pdf

I would worry that the breads could become contaminated by the cookies, and be unsafe for someone who is PA?

Was just looking to see if any new Subway info has come up! I eat there without the kids sometimes, I have not seen PB cookies in the restaurants, yet they are still on the allergen chart as a may contain.

Re Dagwoods, we don't have them out west, but I remember having them growing up in Mtl. They had the best sub sauce!!

My son is at University and they have a Subways there. We went to check out how they make things when he started last fall to see if it was safe. Subway bake the buns and the cookies (which contain nuts/peanuts) on the same baking sheets as the buns. They put down a paper sheet on each baking pan between each batch they bake. To us that means possible cross contamination. What if they are busy and forget to put down a paper sheet? Or are in a hurry and use the same paper sheet? I think it is risky BUT just my opinion.

I agree. But I thought they used those 'wavy' loaf pans for the bread, and the flat sheets for the cookies?
