We just found this today. This bake shop, run by a woman with anaphylaxis (and who has a son with anaphylaxis) serves cupcakes in a variety of different flavours, as well as all kinds of muffins, cakes, and other goodies. The shop opened in the NDG area of Montreal two months ago, and has had some media coverage. There is a sign on the door informing patrons that the premises are nut-free, and asking them not to bring any outside food in.

I wasn't able to have anything today, as there were no egg-free items available, but the owner says that she can do custom orders, so I'm looking forward to sampling some nut-free, egg-free cakes some time soon. My husband tried one of the chocolate cupcakes, and he said that it was delicious.

Details:

Cho'cola Patisserie/Bake Shop

We have been there with my PA/TNA DD and non allergic son.

Very trendy and cute place .
Cupcakes, cakes, cookies everywhere, one more beautiful than the other.

My DD was in heaven, got to pick whatever she wanted.
Expensive but worth every last penny.

They also serve lunch and I would like to try that as well

My son takes violin lessons less than 5 minutes away. This shop makes the violin lessons way more expensive than originally planned ;-)

But oh, to have Halloween related treats was, well, a treat!

We ordered an egg-free birthday cake from Chocola recently. Very tasty, and both my dd and I were able to enjoy it.

Just heard about the place in November and recently ordered a nut, egg, and milk free birthday cake so everyone coming to my party will be able to eat it! Can't wait to see it, will post feedback on presentation and taste!
