Hi Shairose
I am not sure if things are the same in each restaurant but I know here my allergist had information that they dont have nuts in their cooking process but all their sauces may have nuts or nut traces. We do not eat anything from KFC

Thanks for your response,
The website says that no nuts used in their facilities, but, they cant guarantee there was no contact with PN/TN. But its a US site and there is no Canadian website.....so not sure myself!!
So confusing!

Ok, so, I must not have looked carefully, but lookit what I just found!
http://www.kfc.ca/home/en/allergen.pdf
Its a list of allergens that may be contained in their products.
PN/TN shows up for their ceaser dsgs and cake.
I did find a canadian site....http://www.kfc.ca/home/en/index.html
here it is and will whip out an email to them as well. Keep you posted re reply!

I can't remember where I read it, but some of their sauces "may contain" so we all steer clear of them (and they are in closed packages)...we have eaten KFC with no problems...my son loves the popcorn chicken and fries! The only "incident" is when we were about to order once and my husband mentioned the allergy and the honest employee said that someone was eating walnuts and the bag was under the counter  yikes!! (as that is one of the tree nuts that is a huge no no for him) ...needless to say, we left and were reminded just how scary eating out can be!!!

i was thinking of mentioning the people factor, my ex boyfriend worked at kfc for a long time, and the kitchen is actually breaded on sight, so you have a much more human cross-contamination issue then something that comes off an assembly line... just to put that out there
