We were at Tony Romas recently. Had a great meal and great service. They're always very accomodating when dealing with our son's allergies

Much to our surprize, they advised us at the end of the meal that they serve Chapman's ice cream. - a very rare thing in Western Canada!

We'll be sure to save room next time!

After seeing your post we called Tony Roma's on St. James and the gentleman was very helpful. He said that there are almonds and cashews on the property but they could make her meal away from them. He said that no nut products were made in the deep fryer so she can have fries! Yeah! They do still serve vanilla and chocolate chapman's.

We are going there tonight and hopefully can report it was a success.

Dinner was great although the staff were concerned about cross-contamination in the deep fryers so no fries but thankfully they make amazing mashed potatoes. Didn't have room for ice cream :)

Good to hear you had a good time. I know they have nuts on the premisis (99% of restaurants do) but as long as they're just at the salad station and not on the grill or area where they prep/cook our food and we advise them of our allergy we feel comfortable.

I can't remember what they said to us about fries - I think my son usually has the baked potato - LOADED!
