I felt so bad that my daughter couldn't have her first ice cream cone like I had planned, and I felt bad I wouldn't be able to give her any sweet treats. Well, since i'm dairy free now, I had to find a treat for myself. Found a great smoothie booth in some malls, and they were really great when I explained the situation, they passed one the the blenders int he sterilizer for me, so my daughters first cold treat (besides a frozen juice popsicle) was a mango rasberry smoothie that was heavenly. I left a great tip because they were so understanding. Every day that goes by, I find out that I will be able to make this work, and I gain some courage, I know it sounds cheezy, but it's true!

I know how much these little milestones (experiences) mean. I am so happy for you Cauger, when even one person goes out of their way and takes just that extra effort it really can mean the world some days. I have usually found too that kids love anything they can drink with a straw. :D
