We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Gladstone Hotel's Family Acoustic Brunch this past Sunday (Mother's Day). I emailed Andrea Young, the director of food and drink, ahead of time to ask her how the Gladstone could accommodate our daughter's allergies, expecting a message listing nothing more than limitations. I received a response almost immediately saying she was committed to making it happen and asking what we needed. I responded with our requirements (list of my daughter's allergies and advising of the need for clean utensils and cooking space), and Andrea met with the chef the same day. We had another exchange about my daughter's preferences (she's a picky eater) and we settled on a modified menu item. When I called the afternoon before the brunch to confirm our reservation, I was told that part of the kitchen was in the midst of being set up for my daughter's food.

The brunch itself was great. My daughter loved her food (as did everyone else theirs). We all had a fine time dancing to the live bluegrass. Andrea visited our table to check in. We love the Gladstone. Good times!
