I got my fall issue this week (not sure when, I get all my mail at my mother's and have not seen her in a few weeks). It was good! This is one magazine I always read cover to cover. I liked the article on the current state of allergy research. It sounds like the 'hygiene hypothesis' is still holding sway. And I enjoyed seeing the article on good lunch kits. I have a laptop lunchbox (there is a wonderful Flickr group of laptop lunchbox users) and a knock-off Mr Bento.

Now...can we please have a really good article looking into what is behind the explosion of corn allergies? :)

Hi there, I was wondering where you got this issue and how do I sign up for it. I would appreciate it so much. I am always looking for information like this. I have so many family members with a variety of healthy issues and allergies. Some are more severe than others. Again I appreciate any type of information.

Thank you so much.

Hi 702.gavin, I see you are in California. I don't know which stores might carry the magazine but if you click on the big Allergic Living at the top of this page, then click on subscriptions, it will take you to a page that you can order current or back issues from.

Glad you found us!

Hi 702.gavin,

Welcome to the Forum! This is the place to find any and all information you need regarding allergies and asthma.

Unfortunately, we are not yet available in newsstands in the United States. The only way to purchase our magazine is through a subscription. As Susan mentioned below, you can use the Allergic Living logo to link to our home page, and from there you can find our subscription page.

As for the Fall 2008 issue, that is our current issue (we're a quarterly magazine). I should tell you that it has been one of our most popular issues and one we are very proud of here at Allergic Living.

If you need any help, feel free to reply to this posting. I'd be happy to help you in any way I can!

Enjoy your time on the Forum!

702 - Glad you're finding the forum helpful.
Nice and helpful community, I think you'll find.

Should mention that if there are one or two particular back issues of the mag. that interest you, you can buy them individually.

The contents of the back issues is shown here:
