Hi! My spring issue has been open to page 27 since I went through it 10 or 20 times. I keep reading the part about Anaphylaxis Canada being involved in a study of whether a law, rather than a policy, leads to better protection. I agree with Laura Harada that people do sit up straighter and take more notice when there is a law.

I would really like some follow up on this question.

It makes school boards budget for training. It gives everyone involved a reference point. The legislation is written vary vaguely so that there is a lot of wiggle room in terms of what is done. What it does is clearly identify whom is reponsible for what.
