Raspberry Oatmeal Squares

1 Cup Flour
½ Cup Brown Sugar
¼ tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
¾ Cup Margarine (Whatever kind is safe for you)
1 ½ Cup Rolled Oats
1 Cup Raspberry Jam mixed with 1 Tbsp lemon juice (vary to your taste)

Mix flour, sugar, baking soda & salt in bowl. Cut in Margarine until crumbly. Add rolled oats.

Press 2/3 of this mixture in the bottom of a greased 9x9 pan. Spread jam over this layer. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top, patting lightly into jam. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until golden. Run knife around edges. Cut into squares or diamonds when still warm.

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: allergies to some tree that flowers in May
Cat: allergic to beef, pork and lamb
