I have heard of this being done - it comes up all the time on another forum I belong to. I personally wouldn't bother with anything fat-free, though. Better a bit of sugar than the chemicals (unless you have to avoid sugar).

I've heard of root beer being the magic ingredient often, but I'm guessing anything would work. Let us know how it turns out!

I've been testing recipes for my kids b-days coming up. I got desperate and tried the cake mix with a can of 7-Up and it worked! My daughter hasn't eaten any of the other cakes I've tried but she keeps asking me for pieces of this one!

I have a totally awesome cake recipe that is free of dairy, eggs, peanuts, nuts and even soy I think.

It can made chocolate or vanilla.

I will try to post it later tonight or tomorrow.
