If you are allergic to peanuts, nuts, what kind of raisins do you buy? I used to buy bulk, until we realized how risky bulk food is (takes experience to get smart, sometimes). Then I became afraid to even buy the packaged ones. How about the SunMaid raisins in the box? Thanks for suggestions.

Hi Shirley, are you in Canada? President's Choice and No Name Brand will tell you (per item, because they change frequently where they get them from) if they are nut/peanut free AND if the facility has no nuts/peanuts if you call.

I have that SunMaid is allergen free (just their raisins, nottheir confections), but that is from 2002.

We use Loblaws' President's Choice Organics raisins -- my son loves how plump they are (and not sticky). On my last call approx. a month or so ago, they were safe for us.
