Here is a link to the CODEX List of allowed food additives. I am extremely sensitive to the hundreds of additives made from corn. It's amazing how many additives are allowed in our food (many/most of which are not labelled!).

:shock: This is a good resource. I'd really like to see more thorough labelling. I'm sure consumers would be all for it. Lax labelling laws only benefit the food industry . . . I guess they probably don't want to admit what they put in our food. If it's a question of printing costs for labels, perhaps companies should be required to post a complete list of ingredients online and make them available by phone should customers request it.
