FARE’s has a webinar coming up! “Tools, Tips & Tactics for Effective Advocacy,” on Wednesday, Sept. 11 at 1 p.m. EDT is now open for registration. Improving the public policy environment for people with food allergies requires dedication and commitment, but it can be made much easier with strategies that amplify our voices to help lawmakers better understand our cause. This webinar will cover topics such as building a grassroots network, meeting and communicating with legislators, working with other advocates, leveraging the media and “lobbying.” The webinar will be led by George Dahlman, FARE’s vice president of advocacy and government relations. He has worked in public affairs for more than 30 years; on Capitol Hill, in healthcare, aerospace and public transportation. Register now !
