It looks like a valuable resource -- I like that it has a searchable database (includes scientific names of allergens, etc.) It's worth checking out.

I just edited this post to give a little more detail...
The site allows you to click on a specific allergen to give you its "general food info" (which includes the scientific name) - you can then click on the option to view "clinical data" (quotes latest research findings and then gives you links to the actual research sources) - you can also click on (when applicable) Biochemical data. Pretty neat.

Thanks for this. I'm pleased to see it's a UK site. I'm in the UK and I'm always looking for this type of information. And it's useful for all countries too!
