This cry from pint-size hockey players may soon replace the familiar whine for hot dogs and fries with gravy in Durham Region arenas.

The local health department, looking for ways to combat an epidemic of childhood obesity and flabby adults, is about to launch a "healthy eating" program in local arenas

This follows an extensive survey of arena patrons that showed more than 90 per cent of those who take their kids to the rink want healthier choices at the snack bar.
