Orange Julius http://www.orangejulius.com/sec_nutrition_allergy.html doesn't have a GREAT BIG SIGN that says WAY MORE THAN ORANGE JUICE - LOTS OF ALLERGENS!! NOT JUST NUTS, instead they only have that little scratched up sign on the till about peanuts. I just had one the other day for the 1st time since DD was 2 years old. It was good, but sensory overload for me.... I won't have another. Tastes and smells sure bring back memories....on the other hand, sheep dung, to me, brings back the warmest of memories. :rofl

My kid can't hear me if I'm talking to her, but she can hear her father and I talking quietly upstairs while she does her homework... :scratchy

I've finally figured out how to instill messages:
(Speaking softly)
Eating your vegetables will help you grow big and strong
Mommy and Daddy love you
Mommy and Daddy are almost always right
Do as you're told
Clean your bedroom...

How come (how did) I become one of those parents who asks whomever I'm on the phone with to just to say a quick hello to DS as he's hanging on me yelling 'I talk too'.

How come my daughter's "help out in the kitchen" does not apply to setting the table or emptying the dishwasher?

How come my daughter always has to use the washroom when it is time to do dishes?

(she doesn't know that her aunt did that as a kid too! lol)

It's my pre-teen that avoids chores! My teen does much more than we ask of her - mature beyond her years. I have had a tough winter health-wise and my teen has done much of the cooking
