This is a video of Kindergarten students singing Christmas carols and a little girl who decided to sign, using ASL rather than the motions that the teacher came up with.

Both of the parents of Claire Koch, 5, are deaf and American Sign Language was her first language. To her parent's surprise, she signed all of the songs so that they could enjoy the concert.

It's been my experience that children are naturally inclusive, when they know how.

I completely agree that it comes naturally to be inclusive. I think that kids are too often taught otherwise.
