so simply put my question is to pralines fall into the nut (tree nut) catatagory (for alleriges) or elsewhere?

the reason is my kitchen supervisor has re-intorduced pralines and cream muffins into our muffin choices at work (canteen at a hockey arena geared toward children), anyway i was eating one today at work, and serving costomers as i was munching (i do this often it's just the nature of the canteen that i work at you eat when there's downtime and if your co-worker wants help you help them)

so was zipping all over the place, getting stuff stocked (cups, lids stuff lik that) while i ate my "breakfast" and half way thru i stopped and i was like OMG!! i'm eating a nut (i think!!!) this is probably REALLY bad how much cross contamination i've just introduced into my little corner of work today!

which got me thinking is this a nut?? and is this something i should re-consider eating while on the move at work

hmm... all right... so it is a nut, and from now on i'll not eat that one shift (and when i do have one i'll make sure to remember to wash my hands properly and not just rinse them under water before serving ppl)

well now i feel doubly justified in telling the kid who asked about nuts in the pizza, to NOT buy it since it's made on the same prep tables as the muffins are cooled on... whew...
