Hi all -

Another notice by the leader of the Toronto Anaphylaxis Education Group that I thought I should pass on. Again, she noted that she sees this issue as a "product concern" and just wants to make people aware that this packaging issue is present and is being reviewed by the proper authorities.

------------------------------------------
Iceberg Pops (manufactured by Aliments Lebel Inc. of Quebec): this product has a ‘Nut Free’ banner across the front of the box; however the popsicle wrappers inside the box are clearly marked with an allergy warning stating that this product “May contain traces of peanuts or other nuts”.

This labeling has created confusion with consumers and has been brought to the attention of the CFIA. Please use caution and discretion if purchasing this product. Once we hear back from the CFIA, we will provide an update.

------------------------------------------

K.
