That's alright!

The Skeet and Ikes is a very good product if you are only allergic to peanut which my son was and we have been using for awhile, but then less than two weeks ago, we found out he was also allergic to soy and tree nuts...therefore I couldn't use the pumpkin seeds anymore.

I got a reply from the Spitz people -- I did ask which (if any) of the top 10 allergens spitz sunflower seeds have as ingredients or is potentially cross-contaminated with. This is their reply:

Quote:
Thanks for the email you sent stating your concern about nuts in our SPITZ sunflower seeds.

Because I also have a son with nut allergies, I understand how important it is to know if there are any nuts in products. We at SPITZ can honestly say that there are no nuts or nut products packaged at our plant; therefore, it is safe for our nut allergy kids, to enjoy them. The only cross contamination that our sunflower seeds have is with pumpkin seeds and visa versa.

If you have any other concerns, don't hesitate to contact us.

Thanks for your support, and keep SPITZING

They also make pumpkin seeds! To be sure - drop them a line regarding your allergens.
