My husband made a great discovery! His work had some icecream bars for a get together.

They were a multipack of Genuine Eskimo Pie brand that included:
Ice Cream Bar - with a chocolate coating
Vanilla Ice Cream Caramel Center Cone
Fudge Bar and
Orange Cream

The box states Nut Free and under the ingredients states: without traces of nuts/peanuts.

Some of the products do have soy in them though. But I didn't notice any egg ingredients (although I don't know all the possible names for egg). We just picked up our own box. We picked them up from Costco and there are 32 bars in a box (an assortment of the above). Not sure how much there were though since DH bought them.

:D Thanks for sharing! I just assumed that Chapman's was the only commercially made ice cream out there that was peanut/nut free! :D

Uh oh! Eskimo Pies! Mom will buy them with the excuse that they are peanut/nut free and guess who ends up eating them?

Kidding aside, it's nice to have another choice! Thanks for sharing.

Has anyone seen Eskimo Pies in their local grocery store? I've checked No Frills, Price Chopper, Sobey's...haven't gone clear across town (yet, that is  ). Going to Costco isn't an option for us....

Ethansmom - I'll try to remember to look at the box tomorrow to see if there is any contact info. It's not the actual "eskimo pies" but their brand and in the box were the 4 flavours. I just tried doing a Google search and nothing came up.

Ethansmom - here's more information that was on the box. Perhaps you can get a contact number to find out where else they're available?

Thanks for your help mygirlsyd! I came across this link: http://www.eskimopie.com/brands/index.asp and sent their worldwide corporate office an email (based in Markham). We'll see if I get a response...if I do, I'll post it here.
