Just wondering if anyone with similar allergies to my son has tried the Natural Bakery breads with any success. I called last week, and they said they don't use peanuts or eggs in their bread bakery. Some of the products contain soy (as labelled), but in our case, that could be okay (haven't tried yet).

Anyway, just wondering if anyone in Winnipeg or elsewhere in MB has had any luck with these breads.

Thanks!
Marla

Hi Maria: I haven't tried Natural products.

We have Kub Bakery in neighbourhood (east side) and they are peanut free, only have nuts in the german chocolate cake icing which is in a spearate part of the kitchen. They do have eggs in the plant, but we are comfortable with how they manage the egg. It's liquid egg and not powder so we're not worried about airborne. We don't need to deal with milk allergies as you do so I'm not sure about that.

I'll take a look at Natural as I'll have to check for treenuts as well.

All Safeway products are now labled with the generic warning, leaving only Sobey's/IGA (I don't do Supervalue - except for Chapman's novelties)!

Margaret
