Does anyone know of a source for nuts that are not cross-contaminated, i.e. safe for people with allergies to only one specific nut?

Hi Lois -- we started a similar discussion on the topic here: http://www.allergicliving.com/forum/vie ... php?t=1912
Maybe someone else has something more to add?

I would like to purchase nuts that have no peanut contamination or possible trace of contamination. I live in Winnipeg. Does anyone know where I can purchase nuts, I am especailly looking for almonds and walnuts? Whether at a store in Winnipeg or on-line.
