We are looking for a peanut-free bakery in Brampton area (Ontario) that makes birthday cakes. My brother and sister-in-law are having my nieces birthday party and want to have the cake from a bakery. Any ideas as to where in the Brampton area that they could go to get one so the party can be a fun-filled and safe one for my son as he has a severe life-threatening allergy to peanuts.

There is also Irrisistible Cakes which is located at 4040 Steeles (Steeles and Weston Rd. area)...I know it's not Brampton but... (unfortunately no sample pictures for b-day cakes) and they are also lactose free cakes...we order for both my boys birthdays from there as well as any special occassion...the cake designs for kids themed birthday are outstanding (my favourite so far has been the dinosaur theme the box top barely closed with all the mountains and hills they made out of extra cake!)

6 1/2 year old son - anaphylactic to tree nuts, allergic to dust and moulds
5 1/2 year old son - no allergies
15 month old son...allergies unknown

Here's another option if they have a Price Chopper in their area: ... php?t=1443
It's a peanut free / nut free bakery, but they don't guarantee the ingreds. from their suppliers as nut free.

Guardian Angel Foods has two distributors in Toronto so far. I know that they are expanding into Ontario and they may have more by now.

Here is their link:

Daughter: asthma, allergies to egg, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, most legumes (not soy) & penicillin. Developing hayfever type allergies.
Husband: no allergies
Me: allergies to some tree that flowers in May
Cat: allergic to beef, pork and lamb
