At Walmart today, they have Gingerbread men, with a yellow "happy face".
They are individually-wrapped. There is a sticker on the wrap, it is a picture of a peanut with a line through it, and it says "Nut Free". Not sure if that means all nuts or just peanuts. The name on the back of the package is NAFTA Foods & Packaging Inc. http://www.naftafoods.com/index.htm
It looks like they may have other nut free gingerbread.
Had to get 1, my son recently asked what does a gingerbread man taste like?

I also found the Nafta Gingerbread men -individual decorated one and packages of 12 at Walmart. I contacted Nafta and was impressed by the detailed letter I received detailing their manufacturing procedures. I also found Orbit sugar Xmas cookies at Wal Mart. Orbit is a subsiduary of Nafta so I was able to check them out through Nafta too. To date, I have found individual snowmen cookies at A&P (expensive at $2.00 each), packages of 12 gingerbread men, and even larger packages at Sobeys, large packages of Xmas trees (3 0r 4 dozen I think) at Price Chopper and a snowman kit with icing and decorations. I purchased six 12 packs of gingerbread men for my two grandson to take to school for their Christmas parties. I hadn't seen the larger packages at that time, however next year, I will be looking for them. Most of the nut free cookies I found were made by Orbit.
