On Saturday, I was shopping at Sobey's and I came across a bag of Hershey's assorted (cookies n cream, milk chocolate and chocolate/caramel) mini chocolate bars with a big "Peanut-Free" Symbol on them. It was bag of 90 mini chocolate bars for $12.00. Its nice to see more options coming out, aside from the Nestle mini bars, which we still buy.

I was at Shoppers Drug Mart today and they had a small bag of just the cookies and cream mini chocolates with the peanut free logo on it for $2.19. It didn't say anything about tree nuts so I called just to make sure and the woman I spoke to was very helpful. She told me that Hershey's is very allergy aware and they label for the top 8 allergens and that they label for "may contains" as well. Anyway she had me read the barcode to her and confirmed that this particular product was peanut AND nut free. :D Thanks for posting about this because otherwise I wouldn't have even thought to look for it!
