I was in a health food store today and purchased a bag of pumpkin seeds. I figured when I got home I could do some computer work to find out more about this product to no avail.
I want to find out if they may be crossed with any nuts, coconuts...
On the label it says chapman farms naturally, purity life health products ltd. Action, ON
There is nothing else on the package.
Can anyone tell me anything about this company, I would like to phone them to get confirmation before I eat any.
Thanks for any help

Hi thanks Laurie15
I did call the number, she is going to look into it for me as she did not have an answer for me as to cross with any peanut/tree nut/coconut. I have my fingers crossed as I so want to find some pumpkin seeds that are shelled. I also bought some sunflower seeds and I just found out they are made on same equipment as tree nuts. :(
It would be so nice to sprinkle some seeds on a salad some time or just for a quick snack.

P.S. She just called me back tree nuts are in the building!
I guess I have to keep looking.

I am not sure what is in Alberta, but I found some here at a store in Ontario (they are the store brand of them... It's a small, organic health food store.) I, too, had SUCH a hard time finding them!

If you want, next time I go, I can ask about peanuts and treenuts - although, I am sure that because there are other treenuts in the same packs, they might not be safe. If they are, though, I can send you some.

Alternatively, they are http://www.goodnessme.ca, and maybe they would ship to you directly. I have no idea, but it might be worth a shot. I know they are gluten and dairy-free.
