Hi,
Has anyone heard of/tried Hashahar nut free chocolate spread? My son's daycare had it shipped in last week to their kitchen and the chef shows me all new products before giving them to our son (allergic to peanuts and sesame). I held off on giving it to him because it's a product from Israel and I'm not always confident with International labels but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of it/tried it/ has any info. I've been googling it but haven't come up with much?
Thanks in advance

I haven't heard of it but perhaps some of the other members have.

The spread you are talking about it usually found in the kosher isle of your local grocery store or if specialty store. It is a product from isreal that is made with palm oil and real cocoa. My boyfriends parents are from Isrreal and since learing about my allergy keep this spead on hand all the time to.

Hi Dara,
I've been looking around in the organic and kosher sections of Highland Farms in Vaughan and a few other places but haven't found it. I'm going to be in Thornhill later in the week and am going to look there. This stuff tastes amazing! If you know of where it is sold let me know. Thanks!

Hi

I saw this spread in the Kosher section at Loblaws in the west island of Montreal.

I didn't buy it because I am not sure how to contact the company regarding their peanut/nut free status.
There is no website information.

It looks really good.

Does anyone have any information about this product from Israel.

The best I could find was some sort of leagal action brought against them for not supllying to someone?
It gives their address as Hashahar Haole Sweets Industries Ltd. , Haluutzei Hata'asiya 41, Haifa Bay but it mlooks like it was last update in 2006.
