Looking for peanut free tree nut free chocolate I found this site. It states that everything is made in a '
[u]peanut free facility [/u ](not nut free). Yet they list chocolates for sale as peanut free or peanut and tree nut free. I have contacted them as I don't understand how a peanut free only facility can make safe 'nut' free products also when they do in fact make nut products. The first picture is of a chocolate almond bar?

Hopefully their answer will explain this. Has anyone tried these?

My son's school has sold these for the last few years as a fundraiser. I read the label more than one time and since it look good.... Nut free.... I tried the Caramel Whirls, the Crisp Bar, the Caramel Bar. I know some times even if I am told something is fine and I have no reaction it can feel "weird" in my mouth this never happened. These all were good, we very much enjoyed the Crisp Bar #1 then the Caramel Whirls. I would buy them again, my children without allergies also loved them.

Oh, we used to buy the Mint Meltaways as kids for fundraisers and they were AMAZING. I hope somebody sells them to me soon!

I didn't know they were peanut free. That's great!

Most schools in Winnipeg use World's Finest as they do offer peanut/nut free products and it meets the requirements for most school divisions who have gone at least peanut free. It's nice to have options - and they're an easy sell.
