Are marshmallows safe for people with dairy and egg allergies? Is there a better/safer brand to use?

TIA

We use Dandies marshmallows; they are free from nuts, peanuts, egg, dairy, and gelatin and are made in a dedicated facility.

:banana :happydance We use Dandies also! Nolan is anaphylactic to gelatin (plus as you see others :| ) and he eats them with no problem. :swing They are truly the ONLY ones we can have in our home. My folks just came out for X-mas and brought another 5 bags. So far the only store I've found them sold in Canada is in the New Wesminster Quay (Vancouver).

We can order them through our food co-op. Granted, we have to order a whole case, but nobody is complaining about excessive piles of marshmallow in our house. ;) Rocky Road squares, anyone?

YUMMM!!! Do you mind sharing your recipe for rocky road squares? (drooling)

What we do is put a cookie sheet on the table with a teal ight candle and the kids roast the 'dandies' and make s'mores.

We use No Name marshmallows and I think we have used Kraft ones too. At last check the No Name ones were safe for us - milk and egg free.

Thanks for he replies. I couldn't find any of the Dandies, but I'll keep an eye out for them. Hopefully, (if I can'f find the Dandies), the No Name won't be a problem for DS.

Oh no, I just realised that Dandies have soy protein in them and your son can't have soy! I think Kraft is soy-free and free from the other allergies - give them a call! Hopefully the No name ones will be okay too! :)
