What about talking to the Dr. and asking that the office waiting room be deemed a "food free" zone given the obvious issue for some of her food allergic patients? Has anyone done this as yet? A sign should be posted stating clearly that there is no food allowed for the safety of those who are dealing with life threatening food allergies! This kind of thing really frustrates me - an allergist's office should really know better!! :x

I think I will write a letter to the CSACI about the matter of food in allergists' offices. It would be good for them to provide directives to their members and what we're hearing here is that obviously things are not great in that department.
