Alexander is NOT allergic to fish, shellfish, and pork!

He had RAST bloodwork done in late August, and we got the results back last week. Not that we'll be feeding him fish/shellfish anytime soon, but I"m happy to be able to add those items back into my own diet, and to try pork for him again.

Just wanted to share some good news in our journey. : )

Glad to hear it. :)

Had he previously tested positive to those foods?

Thanks for all the kind words.
>Annamarie: no, he hadn't had positive results before. However, I thought he was reacting (rash, runny nose) when I would eat fish/shellfish and later breastfeed him. And when he once tried pork, he later had diarrhea, so I suspected it.
I am grateful they did the testing I requested, and grateful that it all turned out this way! He ate pork this week, and all was fine. We'll still wait quite a while until he tries fish/shellfish, but I've eaten fish already! : )
