630 ched afternoon talk show Charles Adler
Not sure what time 1-3 pm but will have to check the audio vault to narrow it down, but I will figure out how to work that....he threw the peanut allergy card ...something to do with the heat, humidity and a ball game and whether they should close the roof (Toronto). I was with Ds and he was driving so I was paying attention to him driving and not the radio, but I heard something. I like that guys (Adler) view mostly, does anyone know if he has a history on speaking of allergies? (I can't believe I'm listening to talk radio. It must be my age.)
Something I will follow up on. I'll be back.

Myself - Seasonal, cats
dd-asthma (trigger - flu) anaphylactic to eggs, severe allergies to bugspray and penicilin, pulmicort
ds-Seasonal, cats and OAS
dh-allergy cats, bugspray and guava, outgrew egg allergy

Watching an episode of Hot in Cleveland, a new show that runs on TV Land, a character is discussing a potential date, and states, essentially: “oh, don’t say he has a peanut allergy. Those freak me out. You go out to dinner, he eats one wrong thing and his head swells up like a balloon. Ruins your whole evening.”

What do others think

The characters in that show are always pretty shallow. The line completely fits that show.

Special Agent Oso, on Disney had an episode on food allergies, my son was so impressed (he's 4).

"He helps a girl, Jade, prepare a salad for her cousin Rachel who has food allergies. They'll need to wash, chop, and toss the vegetables to make the lunch."

From what I remember, it was wonderful!!

4yo ds: Finally!! Milk and Latex allergy. Preservative sensitivity. Asthma. Hay fever.
6yo ds: Hay fever, ADHD, asthma, penicillin, azithromycin, cephalosporin.
