I have noticed there are a number of kids with allergies - on this forum and elsewhere - who have names ending in N! (Ok, it could just be a trend -- or that all cool moms use these names ending in N.... )

I have Griffin -- who do you have?

My girls both end in e. My last name ends in "n" and I did not want the kids first and last names to rhyme. But, I had my eye on "Jayden" if we had a boy (which we did not). I liked that name so much that I was willing to overlook that the first and last name would both ended in "n". Pretty much all the boy names I liked ended in "n".

Sorry, first name last letter "l".
In fact the name was the only name we both liked. We joked that we would have used it even if our child was born a boy (we didn't know before birth).

No kids yet. My given name ends in 'n'. My husband's does not. We both have food/environmental allergies.

Are you talking just *food* allergies?

My kids, two end in N, one doesn't. My name doesn't end in an N, but as you can see, I do have two N's in it.

Interesting thought - but my oldest's ends in "e" and my youngest's ends in "r".

But they're both really smart! LOL. (See another thread wondering if all allergic kids were really intelligent. ;) )

However... if you count their super hero names... one does end in "n" - Epi-Man! :)

Ok, this was a silly post.... However, I do know four members of our community, a friend not on the forum , and the ED of Anaphylaxis Canada all have kids with allergies with names ending in 'n' . (Interestingly enough, all of these kids are boys....hmmm. . . that might have more to do with things than something so arbitrary as a name!)

Listen - we all need to have fun once in awhile. :) I thought it was fun. I've seen a mini-poll asking whether allergic kids tend to have long eyelashes...!
