I got the results for the RAST tests and they are all negitive. Even the tests for seafoods.
I know I al allergic to seafood from my past reactions. He has me avioding antihistamines so that he can do a Skin test on Wed. I am so nervous because the last time I came i contact with shellfish i spent the night in the hospital.

yes its this Wed. at 8 am. I have been ok because I have stayed off the things I know I have had a problem with or think i will have a problem with. If I question it I don't eat it. Still though I have a reaction at least once a day.

I hope you're skin-testing with actual seafood. If it's just to the serum, make sure you also get to do a test with actual shrimp or lobster.

(You have to buy a shrimp, piece of pink fish or whatever and bring it - or get someone to do that for you.)

I have tested both negative and positive on RASTs for shellfish. When I tested negative, despite having had a full-on anaphylactic attack 10 years earlier to shrimp, the allergist said we had to skin test with actual shellfish before he'd experiment with an oral challenge. When we did that skin test I reacted - with large angry red wheals.

So if you do the serum test and it's negative, ask whether, in your case, you should also be doing a skin test with actual food samples before trying an oral challenge.
