FYI, McGill is conducting a food labelling survey. EpiPen is a sponsor, so if you're interested in participating, contact info is up at www.EpiPen.ca (Just click through "I'm a consumer" and look down page.)

McGill University Health Centre

Do you have food allergies? Do you provide or prepare food for people with food allergies?
Do you often see food labels with statements such as:

“MAY CONTAIN MILK” “MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS”
“MANUFACTURED IN A FACILITY THAT ALSO PROCESSES EGG”?

Do you know what these statements truly mean for the food allergic individual?

If these questions affect you or someone you provide food for, you may be interested in participating in a study that may help to improve food labelling for the allergic consumer. Our primary research goal is to learn more about how food allergic consumers, and those who buy on their behalf, interpret various food labels with precautionary statements such as “may contain peanuts.”

Has anyone heard back from this? I emailed them at the beginning of May to participate, but haven't heard anything...just want to make sure I didn't miss their email :)

JennO72-Try again, could you have miss typed your e-mail address?
I participated a while back when they first started the study. I sent them an e-mail in May saying I'd be happy to participate but this sounded very familiar and they replied confirming that I had already done so.
I'm surprised that you haven't heard anything they got back to me in a matter of days.
