While I sit on hold for the tele-health nurse, I wonder if if an itchy rash (no redness) over much of dd's back, chest and back of the thighs is caused by the anti-biotics she's on or the virus she got.

Do I dose her at 7:00 am? Do I send her to school?

Decided to keep her home until I speak to her pediatrician.

I agree, keep her home. Poor thing she's had quite a week. Was it the virus which set of her asthma this week?

Follow up-Ditched the Biaxin and am now giving rescue puffer every 4 hour hours until the cough is gone. Chest is clear so no reason for anti-biotics. :P

Now she's complaining about a sore ear (Dr saw slight swelling yesterday). I hope it doesn't develop into a full blown ear infection!

So now...do wwe assume that she's allergic to Biaxin? :confused

Always a good idea to pop into the Dr's office at the start of the day and try to get fitted in. Ours always leaves some wiggle room for that.
We love our paediatrician-she's been in his care since she was a few minutes old!
