I was roaming Shoppers today waiting for a prescription and saw a display of LipSmacker chapsticks. I thought our DD might like one and I was shocked to see every single variety contains SESAME!!!! Lip Smacker is a product of Bonnie Belle.
My girlfriend let me know last week that she was just about to buy a chapstick for her daughter and then saw in the ingredients almond oil!!!!!!
:frightened

I know this was posted months ago but I just recently found this out as well. I usually use Burts bees products on my lips. I bought new chap stick and used it yesterday only to spend the day suffering with itchy, red lips! When I got home I read the ingredients on the box and it contains almond oil :banghead I am starting to get annoyed with this.

:frightened Wow, scary. I am so thankful your reaction wasn't worse (not that it is good to have any reaction). Would you mind posting the brand you used that contained the almond oil so we all know to avoid it. Even in our home this is an issue as our daughter wears chap stick and it has to be safe in case she is kissing our son (or being 3 if he decides to put some one himself).

Thanks for sharing Sarah388

It was Burt's Bees Sun Protecting lip balm with passionfruit. In the ingredients it lists prunus amygdalus dulcis the in brackets sweet almond oil! Talk about hiding it in the small print!

It also contains soy for those of you watching for that allergen
