I apologize if someone has already posted this, but I did a search and didn't see anything.

There are updated instructions on the new Epipens - got new ones today (exp June 2014) and the first instruction printed onto the unit is "Remove blue safety cap by pulling straight up without bending or twisting it" instead of "Pull off blue safety release" from my previous units.

The poster with instructions and symptoms has also been updated: http://epipen.ca/local/en/pdf/poster/Poster_8.5x11.pdf

I guess this is due to the issue they noticed some time ago. . . http://www.cbc.ca/news/health/story/201 ... y-ana.html

In my opinion, the image on the EpiPen almost looks like you should twist off the blue cap. It would be easy in an emergency situation to make that error.

Hmm, I didn't think of that, but I guess it's possible someone would get confused. . .
