spacecanada,

My heart goes out to you. I often feel that dealing with mental health issues is harder than any physical health issues. I sure hope you can find a supportive practitioner who can help you find peace of mind. I'm definitely in your corner, sending you positive vibes and virtual hugs. Please know that many of us understand what you're going through and support you 100%.

Love Soccermom

Mental health is very important and it is good that you are following up on it.

I am very sorry to hear that your nightmares are back. Having endured them myself for months on end I empathize with your frustration and tiredness. I wish you well.

Good for you for going, and pls. don't feel weird about. Remember this older article from our archives? http://allergicliving.com/2010/07/02/fo ... r-of-food/

In it, experts compared having a bad reaction to PTSD. And having had a hard time with food after a major reaction, I believe it. Take it slow and steady, maybe consider yoga (if you don't do it already), to help with the stress that you've internalized.

All to say, wishing you the best with!

I hadn't read that article before. Thank you for posting the link. It summarises quite a bit of what I am feeling and some of the help I've received so far. Thankfully, malnourishment isn't a concern - I still eat plenty of healthy foods made at home, as cooking and baking are one way I relieve stress.
