I just wanted to share a cute story.

Yesterday I was packing up my kids from a playdate and it was snowing like crazy. While buckeling my daughter into her carseat I asked her if she thought the Easter Bunny was going to be confused with all the snow and that maybe Santa was going to come instead. She told me matter of factly that he would just wear his winter jacket, hat, mitts and his Epi-belt. Of course the Epi-belt caught my attention so I asked her if the Easter Bunny had allergies and Yes, apparently he's allergic to caterpillars!

caterpillars

Sometimes you see the punchline coming, but not this time. I love it.

And, I promise, I won't put any caterpillars out this weekend. I sure don't want to make the Easter Bunny sick. :D

I guess that is why kids never get chocolate covered caterpillars for Easter...! ;)

I love the way their little minds work, and how they often manage to surprise us.

Gotta love little kids' brains.

When my niece was little, she had quite a bad time with asthma. One April she announced that the Easter bunny had asthma, too. Apparently if he hopped too long, his asthma would flare and he had to use his puffer.

Exercise-induced, I suppose.
